A white-board was mounted on a cafeteria wall with worker’s schedules (dates, names, shifts, etc.).
Somehow the data would occasionally be changed without management’s approval – so the request was to build a lockable framework that would allow the data to be changed as needed by management. They ended up with three identical units, with three locks keyed alike.
The design allows for the units to be wall-mounted using four screws (mounting hardware and locks included). With a continuous hinge on the left, the unit can be unlocked and the date changed immediately, or the white board can be removed and taken away – the concept here was to have spare white boards to modify in the scheduler’s office, and quickly change boards.
