I am always fascinated by the different colours and grains and knots of the woods I see on the items at Guelph Wood Art. Since I am always looking for things with cats on them, I was over the moon happy to find a wooden cat shawl pin. I wear this on a bulky sweater, and am thrilled how it looks, and that the shawl pin gets a lot of interest and compliments. My cat’s veterinarian reached a milestone birthday this year, and I know she also likes to wear a bulky sweater instead of a jacket, so I contacted Al at Guelph Wood Art and he made her a special cat shawl pin. It was so great to be able to give her a one of a kind gift, and support a local artisan at the same time.
